Kajang
Hospital provides specialist secondary services to 633,900
people which are from Kajang and other surrounding districts.
Ten medical specialties are offered, which covers general
medical discipline, general surgeries, obstetric and gynaecology,
orthopaedic, paediatric, ophthalmology, psychology, anaesthesiology,
radiology and pathology. The hospital also receives patients
who are referred to it from Outpatient Clinics in the Hulu
Langat district, hospitals, and government and private clinics
in the vicinity.
With 306 beds available, Kajang Hospital is able to provide
outpatient treatments (emergency, specialist clinics and haemodialysis)
plus warded patients (including cardiology, paediatric, O&G,
ophthalmology and intensive care treatment). Supporting services
listed in the hospital are radiology, pharmacy, rehabilitation,
pathology, food catering, medical records, supervisions, nursing,
management, finance and revenue.

Theatre:
Two fully equipped operation theatres for minor and major
surgeries.
Labs:
Open during office hours for: Microbiology, Cytology, Haematology
and Serology, open 24 hours for Biochemistry, Blood Bank and
Clinical. Blood taken in will be tested for Hepatitis B, HIV
and STDs.
Imaging and Diagnostic Unit (X-Ray):
Offering X-ray services 24 hours a day.
Pharmacy:
Open to all patients during office hours. Pharmacist can be
contacted for further information on medications and drugs.
Medical Report:
All medical reports will be entertained only during office
hours.
Morgue
Offering post-mortem procedures and also hearse services (for
Muslims and Non-Muslims)
Physiotherapy
Rehabilitation treatment for outpatients and in-house patients,
which are referred by the Medical Officers.
Catering
Preparing food that is well balanced, clean and nutritious
in order to help the recovery process for patients. Also able
to give advice on a well balanced everyday diet.
