Kajang Hospital is situated in the east of the Kajang Township, which is in the Hulu Langat district of Selangor. It was built in 1889 on a 16-acre land, 30 kilometres southeast of Kuala Lumpur. The hospital is in the centre of town and is easily accessible from any district.

The hospital has around 522 personnel from 666 positions it caters to. They include 15 specialists, 51 medical officers, 282 nurses, and 24 medical assistants. The hospital is placed under the Perancangan Pelan Induk (Master Plan), Bahagian Perancangan dan Pembangunan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia.
